Hammond Lyons Insurance Agency, LTD has a long history of serving metro-Detroit. According to the Clawson Historical Society, we are the oldest family-owned business. In 1927, Harley Hammond established the Harley Hammond Insurance Agency out of his home on Main Street and fifty years later, my father, Jack Lyons, purchased the agency renaming it Hammond/Lyons Insurance. Since 1982, we have been located at the corner of 14 Mile Rd and Main Street in downtown Clawson, where our family continues the tradition of providing customized, comprehensive insurance coverage and exceptional customer service to our clientele.
